Los Angeles is a city full of life, and I wanted my design to reflect that vibrant energy. I created a bold, angular angel crest to complement the city’s slogan, City of Angels. The red in my color scheme was inspired by the original Los Angeles flag, I echoed its notched stripes with straight lines through the design. I drew from the Bird of Paradise, the city’s official flower, using its vivid yellows, purples, and reds. For the map portion of my design, I selected monuments I’ve either visited or hope to visit, adding my personal connection to my design.
