For this project, I focused on my favorite band, My Chemical Romance, and their first album, I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love. The lyrics’ vivid imagery inspired a bold, high-contrast design centered on a geometric vampire mouth. I used a limited palette of red, black, and white, and added two doves, one alive, and one dead, to emphasize themes of duality. The inside spread incorporates motifs of a saint and a weapon, reflecting the album’s tension between innocence and violence. Final edits enhanced contrast and cohesion through angular graphics and halftone effects.
